Autumn morning

A golden glow fills me with warmth as the sun shines her rays low in the sky

I feel a gentle chill in the air as a soft breeze brushes against my face and hands

The open expanse of dewey, shimmering grass seems to spread for miles beneath the baby blue sky. The trees in silhouette against the sunlit backdrop.

The birds sing their morning song as church bells chime in the nearby village, stirring its residents gently awake into this new day, brimming with possibility.

The air is lightly scented with the embers of last night’s crackling fire, which we gathered around, snuggled under blankets, watching the flames dance and cast shadows, briefly illuminating the darkness around us.

The soft, fluffy clouds embrace me with their dynamic shapes and textures, intertwined with the graceful flight of birds passing by the ocean of blue and white, the sound of their wings a soft hum against the calm breeze.

This same sky that just a few hours ago was glowing with millions of glittering stars against the deep black canvas of the night sky,  making us feel small as we gazed in awe and wonder at the vast expanse of the unknown and unexplored.

Leaves gently twirl and twist as they fall to the ground, reminding us how beautiful it can be to let go.

Planes rumble overhead, taking their passengers to new and exciting destinations

But I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but here right now.

The world feels still. Calm. Peaceful.

I feel still. Calm. Peaceful.

Wrapped in nature’s embrace as she reminds me that I am here, now.

No pressure or need to rush, strive, produce, consume, compare, grasp; instead nature gently persuades me to just be

Surrounded by, enveloped in, beauty
